Forging Ahead Since 4 Decades
Established in 1989, Champion Extrusions (CE) is a cold forging company incepted by Mr. J.C. Reddy. Situated at Bangalore, we cater majorly to Automotive sector with footprint in industries such as Power Tools, White Goods, Agriculture and Energy.
With endowed expertise, we have a flair for forging ferrous materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels, SS and non-ferrous metals namely Aluminium, Copper, Magnesium & Phosphor Bronze- ” all under one roof”. Offering bespoke solutions to our clients, CE aims to contribute immensely to the forging industry.
Journey of a true Champion
A mechanical engineer with more than 45 years of experience in forging, his primary goal was to cut down the manufacturing industry’s dependence on import of cold forged components and to create the same world class quality components indigenously and was successful in import substitution by operating in economies of scope and scale.
Mr. J.C. Reddy is an innovator and his ingenuity lies in developing top quality components keeping in mind the market, scale of business and economy. Ably leading his team of skilled workers to match up to his passion of manufacturing the best products in terms of quality and quantity, Mr. J.C. Champion Extrusions was incepted by Mr. J.C. Reddy with a 300t hydraulic press in a floor space of 2500 sq ft. at Bangalore.

1990
Production kicked off by forging Magnesium cans to BEL Pune. Developed piston forgings for Allwyn Hyderabad, Spring Cap nut, Top cap nut for M/S Shriram Fuel Injection Industries Hyderabad.

1993
Extended footprint in the Refrigeration industry by supplying to Voltas (Nagpur).
1993
1997
Commissioned an imported press 630t Schuler, aligning to requirements of Auto Industry. Registered as suppliers to Mico Bosch.

1998
Cold Forging supplies to TVS Sundaram Fastners. Capability of processing 50t-60t, 5 Lakh strokes per month. In the verge of diversifying with in precision machining industry, installed SIP Jig boring machine, WMW profile grinding for tool room & aerospace components.

2000
Added the second Schuller 630t Press catering to TVS Sundaram Fasteners. Increased cpacity to 13 lakh srokes to process upto 200t of metal for our prestegious clients. Received ISO 9009:2001 certificate.

Ambition quotient being high, expanded into 10,000 sq ft industrial shed, Peenya (Unit-2) addressing the cold forging needs of Automotive Component manufacturers. Included RM cutting facility by adding Caddy 63 shearing machine, 2 SPM Bandsaw machines’s, full fledged annealing & phosphating section to support existing forging process.

Installed more presses to our arsenal, with Komatsu Maypress 300t, 63t Maypres and Garbener 400t 4 Station press

Increased production by developing new products in Auto-Electrical, Auto-Fuel, Auto – Engine related applications.

Reached a production output of 53,00,000 components (800 Tonnes) for the year. Unit-2 gained an ISO 9001:2008 Certificate by TÜV SÜD.

Raised the bar by processing 1000 tonnes of metal and expanding our clientele in other sectors of Power Tools & Energy Industry.
